Telex S.A.F.E. 1000 - Encrypted UHF Handheld Microphone System with ND/767 Microphone (Band G)

The Telex S.A.F.E. 1000 wireless microphone systems incorporate the reliability of UHF transmission with the security of audio frequency encryption technology. Each S.A.F.E. 1000 system is matched and shipped from factory with a unique security code. The encryption eliminates the possibility of additional wireless receivers from intercepting the signal. Even additional S.A.F.E 1000 receivers cannot intercept the signal. This system is packaged with the SAFE 1000 receiver and SAFE-HD handheld transmitter with Electro-Voice ND/767 microphone head. The transmitter accepts lavaliers, head-worn microphones and instrument cables terminated with a TA4 connector.

The SAFE-1000 receiver features 950 selectable UHF channels, programmable in 25kHz steps. The receiver is rack mountable with the included rack mount hardware. Microphone level and line level outputs are provided via XLR-male balanced, and 1/4" phone-female unbalanced connections. A comprehensive back-lit LCD display provides group & channel, diversity, label, squelch, audio signal level and RF strength information.

The SAFE-HD handheld transmitter is rugged and durable enough to withstand rigorous use in the field and operates up to 7 hours on a single 9V battery. Output power is switchable between 5mW and 50mW providing greater range when needed. A comprehensive LCD display provides channel & group, frequency and battery level information. This model features the Electro-Voice super-cardioid head for enhanced ambiance and feedback rejection.
