The Hi-Speed USB 2.0 7-Port Hub from Belkin turns 1 USB 2.0 port into 7. This is a great choice for users who are tired of constantly swapping out cables to connect their multiple USB devices. The hub even includes an AC adapter to allow it to work with multiple USB devices that normally draw power from your computer. This integrated solution is ideal for anyone who needs to expand their computer's USB capabilities.

Works great
Plug in the power, plug it in to my laptop, plug USB devices into it, and it just works... No software is needed and my WinXP has no problem identifying it.

I need more ports, and was searching for more than a 7 port hub, when I saw the mixed reviews for the product. I had two of them now and both works great.
Some laptops will not boot until you power up or unplug your hub.

I'm pretty disgusted with Belkin.

Comments about Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 7-Port Hub:
Have been using the hub to connect multiple USB devices to my laptop which only has three USB ports. Makes it easy to connect and disconnect all items with just one USB plug. All devices have worked well including mouse, key pad, external hard drive, USB drive and phone charger.

Comments about Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 7-Port Hub:
Ordered the Belkin USB 2.0 7-Port Hub to replace a cheaper hub that was becoming somewhat unreliable. [...] Plugged the power brick in, then the hub into my PC, started plugging USB devices into it (mouse, keyboard, wireless network adapter, etc.), and it has been working fine. I like the fact that, along with the red power light, there is a separate green light for each USB device that is plugged into the hub. So far I'm very pleased with this unit[...].

Comments about Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 7-Port Hub:
We use this product to expand our usb ports on our Mac system. It's easy to connect to the computer. There are 5 usb ports on the back, and there are two front loading ports on the top for easy access. The product works very well and is great if you need extra usb ports added to your system. Fast response time.

Comments about Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 7-Port Hub:
I use the hub to connect a number of peripherals to my PowerMac G5 tower. To review any product after a week of service is pointless. If it works a year from now as it does now, a review of any kind may be useful. Whatever I might say about the hub at this early date would be irrelevant.

Comments about Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 7-Port Hub:
Good flat design with 2 top loading ports for the USB sticks. Actually comes with an extra 8th port, the squarish USB port, and a cable to attach the extra port to the more common thin rectangular USB port. No complaints.
