The DV Keyboard 3.0 for Mac and Windows from Bella is a USB keyboard designed specially for use with video editing programs on the Mac and Windows platforms. The keyboard includes keycap stickers for Pinnacle Studio, Sony Vegas Movie Studio and Apple Final Cut Express to help you better access keyboard shortcuts in your editing application of choice.
The keyboard also features a 2-port USB hub to allow you to easily connect USB devices such as a mouse, an integrated jog/shuttle wheel and standard multimedia buttons to allow you to control playback of music and videos in Windows Media Player or iTunes. Using keyboard shortcuts while editing will help improve your workflow, making this keyboard an excellent addition to your editing system.

I was excited to get the keyboard with a built in jog wheel and programable hot keys. The wheel works great and is a major timesaver. However the keys are the old-style raised type and are not comfortable once you get used to the standard Mac keyboard.
Which brings me to the MAJOR issue: The APPLE (or COMMAND) key is in the wrong place. Instead of being next to the space bar like all Apple (and other aftermarket keyboards) it is one key away.
This may not seem like that big of a deal but if you use key commands (like I do) it really screws them up and puts your thumb in an awkward position.

Not only is this my utility keyboard for normal computer operation, but it's also a powerhouse in editing. I've set it up now for my Video editor, a radio automation system and my Audio DAW. I've used it now for three weeks and there are no downsides to the DV Keyboard. The best function I've seen is one you don't see. And that is, when you switch software on your computer, the Keyboard chases the program, and switches the keys to match your job at hand. There's no switching in and out of a keystroke program to get into another program. When you click on or open another program, it's on it! This is a massive time saver! You spend more time creating.
And, once you get the hang of setting up programs with keystrokes and the jog and shuttle wheel, it's a breeze to customize the DV Keyboard to any program.
I scroll through audio or video easily.
Again, Best purchase I've made in a long time.

I use this keyboard with Premiere Pro CS3. Don't like the placement of the arrow keys.[...] Jog shuttle skips frames. Overall, this keyboard is no better than the one I had -- that cost me [$]. This one was a disappointment.

This keyboard is excellent. Plenty of mappable extra keys and the function keys are separated in groups of four unlike standard apple keyboards. The shuttle/jog is a great along with the two buttons. Excellent for Avid.
The only thing is it does take some getting used to the position of the arrow keys. They are down below the keypad since the shuttle/jog is in their usual place, but its no big deal.

It's great to be able to control my video projects with this keyboard. The two "wheels" give me frame by frame views and speed my ability to edit. Adding the gooseneck Neolight was just frosting on the cake.
