The Pro Series Keyboard 3.0 for Adobe Premiere Pro from Bella is a USB keyboard designed specially for use with Adobe Premiere Pro. The keyboard features color- and icon-coded keys to help you better access keyboard shortcuts when editing.

Nice keyboard, like the programmability, makes life easy for casual as well as regular editors. Nice feel, and it is good to have the keys labeled with shortcuts in case you need to jog your memory.
The neo-lite comes with it, which is nice. Bright, and works well in low-light situations. Jog works well, but forget the shuttle. Probably a hardware limitation or just a limitation on trying to do this function in premiere. Shuttle doesn't track well to keyboard commands for forward and reverse, can't really judge speed that well, sometimes goes into reverse when you let the wheel go from pushing forward, and vice-versa. I own two of these and have worked with two more. Bella thought the problem might be the wheel was not seated right, but it's fine and I have seen the same problem with each of 'boards I have used. Don't know that any other product with similar functionality is going to work better, as the breakdown is simulating reponse to an analog control through keyboard commands. Unless Premiere and other apps start reading joystick controls this won't be solved.
Keyboard is recommended just the same, if pricey.

Great keyboard with a great feel. Scrubbing wheels work very well, and shortcuts are fine. The top function keys do not work however.
You are supposed to be able to allocate functions to these keys (like opening a program) but on my system (Windows XP PC) it opens the program as well as 50 instances of the help files (very annoying).
Sometimes (not very often) the keyboard managing software will crash, and you need to restart your computer.
Nifty features are a LED light to illuminate the keyboard (plugs into the back of the keyboard, in 3 different possible positions) - excellent if working in low light at an event.
2 USB plugs directly into the back of the keyboard - great if the copmuter tower is out of reach!
However, even with these downsides, my editing work is much faster & easier, and I do not regret the purchase at all.

I love this keyboard. I am breaking in a new editor that knows Final Cut good, but is pretty new to Adobe Premier Pro. This board has made the learning curve really short. I wish I would have had one of these when I started editing with APP. I gave it only 4 stars because the Shuttle control on the board does not work some times. Hopefully it will be fixed in a future drive update.

Its a OK product, but could have been better. All of the functions does'nt work with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, and you have to download drivers from Bella's homepage.

The shortcut keys are extremely useful, the job/shuttle control works fine. The jog wheel and shuttle were somewhat stuck, but customer service at Bella responded within a couple hours with the solution of taking off the rubber jog wheel and placing it back on, and that fixed everything. The jog control is where the arrows would normally be, so I find myself trying to break the habit of jumping to that area of the keyboard for arrow keys.

Yes this is a product that many people would find to be an uneeded item. You can edit with a regular keyboard regardless of the NLE you are using. However Bella keyboards work really well and assist you with the proper short cuts. The Jog Shuttle wheel is probaby worth the cost of the keyboard itself, but the added programmable keys, and the identified short cut keys make this a quick learner and a time saver. Bellla has been good about keeping up with the various software versions like CS1,CS2 CS3, etc, and with the newer software, the keyboard is accessable in the tool bar and the Jog-Shuttle is visable on the screen. Both nice touches. This keyboard is very useful for those editors that have to jump back and forth betwen two different NLEs in their work day!

I use the keyboard with Premiere Pro CS5 and have found it very useful in helping me remember short cut keys. I love the jog/shuttle. It is a real time saver. The included light is great as I work with very low ambient lighting.

The is my second DV keyboard. I had the older version. Premier 6.5 . I did have some problem getting the drivers to work. You have to go to Bella-USA for tech help. I was able to speak to someone who helped with the problem. If you do very much editing you should go ahead and bite the bullet. The hot keys make it worth it.

This is a great product! The key caps are very easy to see, and you can still see the letters to type with. The keys are also very smooth to press down. Of course the jog/shuttle control is amazing. I use it all the time. The only negative is that the Jog/shuttle control is where the arrow keys are on other keyboards, and the position they chose to place it is in the way for using the number pad if I hold my hand at an angle. This is probably a personal preference so it won't effect everyone. Other than being in the way of my hand the arrow keys are very easy to use.One other bonus is the volume controls above the number pad, these are helpful when watching a movie, so that you dont have to lean over to your speakers to adjust the volume.Speaking of movies this keyboard also includes media controls for movies or music.The keyboard is extremely well built except for one feature that all other keyboards suffer with and that's the little legs on the bottom. After using the keyboard for 6 months I have broken a leg on my keyboard. I have contacted them about getting a new one.This keyboard was all I expected and more. If you have the money go for it.
