The Pro Series Keyboard 3.0 for Avid Media Composer from Bella is a USB keyboard designed specially for use with Avid Media Composer. The keyboard features color- and icon-coded keys to help you better access keyboard shortcuts when editing.
The keyboard also features a 2-port USB hub to allow you to easily connect USB devices such as a mouse, an integrated jog/shuttle wheel and standard multimedia buttons to allow you to control playback of music and videos in Windows Media Player or iTunes. I saw the keyboard on the web page and thought "...oh, how cute. Pretty colors and all..." but when I recieved it and saw how much more productive my work became I was surprised. The keyboard is very useful for video editors who wish to learn the many keyboard shortcuts featured by Avid Media Composer, so it's a time saver. I recommend only one improvement. Build a similar keyboard with an ergonomic layout. It's somewhat hard to adjust to a straight keyboard arrangement after using an ergonomic keyboard.

I just switched from FCP to Avid for work and having the keyboard handy really helps with learning the new shortcuts and such. Plus, every editor should use a shuttle wheel. A great value!
