The Visatec Radio Slave Transmitter RFS has 10 digitally coded channels for wireless triggering of visatec flash units with an integrated RFS interface. It is contained in a plastic housing and has a mount for a camera's hot shoe, and a socket for a sync cable. The operational distance for power packs outdoors is up to 165' (50 m), in closed rooms up to 100' (30 m), compact units up to 66' (20 m). The transmission time is less than 1/1000 second.
- The transmitter is provided with a test button for the direct flash triggering and two buttons for the regulation of the output of all radio-controlled flash units in full or 1/10 f/stop increments.
- Synchronization of the flash by the accessory shoe or the sync connector of the camera. No wires are necessary between the camera and strobe unit.
- Lithium button battery included has ~5 year lifespan.
