Entering into a historic partnership with the Lomographic Society International, Zenit has introduced the Horizon Kompakt and Horizon Perfekt Rotating Lens 35mm Panorama Cameras.
As a true panoramic camera, the Horizon's double-wide angle of view commands nearly two full 35mm frames. Everything around you is brought into the frame and rendered in absolutely stunning color and clarity.
Improvements that the Perfekt version has over the Kompakt version: variable aperture settings, variable shutter speed settings, tripod and cable release sockets, a built-in bubble level in the viewfinder, and a more ergonomic grip.
Note! The Horizon's special panoramic format of 24x58mm requires professional processing. Most consumer labs-available via supermarkets, drugstores, or 1-hour places-do not have the capacity to properly scan and develop your shots. Please check with a professional lab if they can handle this size.

Comments about Lomography Horizon Perfekt Rotating Lens 35mm Panorama Camera:
I use the camera for landscape panoramas and artistic pictures.
Good: Good old heavy mechanical camera. Sharp lens, stunning pictures.
Not so good: Seems to give pictures a greenish tint, standard cable release does not work, need a separate exposure meter, have not found out how to fix included filters.
Overall: Not a camera for everyday shooting or party pictures but for its intended use it is irreplacable

Comments about Lomography Horizon Perfekt Rotating Lens 35mm Panorama Camera:
I purchased this camera during my trip to St. Petersburg in Russia as it was much affordable than a wide angle lens for my leica or 6x7 mamiya that I looked for my panoramic and landscapes photography. It was produced this 2008 year in Moscow rigion and the price was a little bit lower comparing to those at the online stores.
When I first hand hold Horizon it made an impression of an egg-shell and collapsible camera creaking like an old vehicle, but it turned to have quite simple mechanism which in fact does not let much to be broken. From my experience I would recommend paying special attention to the inner of the back film cover when purchasing this camera, as it may leave some scratches on the film when rewinding for each next shot. Everything else seems to be fine with this camera.
It is a cheap solution of getting panoramic photographs though. Horizon delivers nice picture at least at 30x40 paper prints.
Comments about Lomography Horizon Perfekt Rotating Lens 35mm Panorama Camera:
Of all the various Horizon models I have played with overthe years this is the most refined. No banding in my copy.Loading remains a bear, but after the first time you load it(I have big fingers) it goes well next roll. The packagingis outstanding and the build quality is vastly improved. Iam very impressed with the image quality and useability the 28mm F2.8 lens competes well with the much moreexpensive Noblex 29mm F4.5.In short I love the Horizon Perfekt. The case that came withthe camera is well built and functional. The Englishinstructions are clear and accurate. The lomo book at thebottom of the box is full of ideas and makes a great coffeetable book. VERY HAND HOLDABLE!
Problems Encountered: None so far, but my fingers are crossed based on owning afew older Horizon cameras - which always banded on the leftside for some reason. I believe the Russian engineers haveover come this with the Perfekt. I get the sense keepingthe camera clean and exercised will be important tostopping the banding.
Previous Equivalent Items Owned: Noblex 35 UC Horizon (various models)
Items I Recommend: Kodak BW400CN (The Perfekt came with everything in the box)
