My wife was thrilled to get this light weight (low cost) clip on for her eyeglasses and said she is now able to see her needlework clearly. She is over 70 years young and her eyesight is not as good as it used to be. Perhaps a laser surgery could help out the situation, I thought. But it was not necessary. She did not have to go to eye surgeon and I saved a bundle. Come to think of it, I am also over 70 years young and could use such a wonderful helper for my eye.......

Wanted to use it for hobby work such as circuit soldering and fine tweaking of small objects.
In my opinion, its too close to the face to be of much use for fine circuit soldering work. A tabletop stand magnifier is better.
Also the construction was too heavy for my very lightweight glasses
