The Sony AF-D 75-300mm lens is a general telephoto 4x zoom lens, ideal for sports, portraiture, animals etc. The telephoto effect of this lens makes the picture look compressed or have excellent background blur.
When used with the Sony Alpha digital camera, the equivalent focal length (in 35mm terms) for this lens is 112.5mm to 450mm. This allows you to handle both middle-ground subjects and portraits shot from a relaxing distance. It even captures intimate details and natural wonders close at hand.
