The 16mm f/2.8 Alpha A-Mount Fisheye Lens from Sony is a full-frame fisheye that provides your camera with a wide 180° angle of view. With such an exaggerated perspective and intriguing visual distortion, this fisheye lens brings images closer to the focal plane for a view beyond the ability of the human eye.

In addition to eye-catching interpretations of reality, it offers extended depth of field so that you can capture huge vistas in which everything from 20 centimeters to infinity is in focus, even at its maximum f/2.8 aperture. A built-in lens hood forms an integral part of the lens barrel, keeping reflections to a minimum without getting in the way of the super wide 180° view. Four selectable internal filter settings are also built right into the lens, including: normal, O56 monochrome, B12 red reduction and A12 blue reduction for even greater creative effects than are already offered.

With a maximum aperture of f/2.8 and minimum of f/22, this lens' high speed means you can capture images in darker conditions using faster shutter speeds and lower ISO sensitivity.
For Sony Alpha & Minolta DSLRs
Optimized for Sony Alpha & Minolta cameras, this lens becomes the 35mm equivalent of a 24mm lens, with a narrower 120° angle of view, when attached to smaller cropped APS-C cameras.
4x Built-In Rotating Filters & Lens Hood
This lens has four different built-in filters that can be selected by simply rotating a dial on the lens. Choose between filters including Normal for an unaltered view, 056 for accented contrast in black and white photos, B12 to correct color by eliminating red tones, and A12 to correct color by eliminating blue tones.
180° Wide Viewing Angle
With an exaggerated perspective and creative visual distortion, this fisheye lens brings images closer to the focal plane for a view beyond the ability of human eye, and extraordinary corner-to-corner sharpness and greater depth.
7x Circular Aperture Blades
Circular aperture blades produce smooth, rounded bokeh background effects when capturing spot-light sources in your pictures. Because the aperture blades form a near circle at the wide openings used for low-light shots, spot-light sources have a pleasing circular defocused effect.
