The 20mm f/2.8 Wide Angle Prime Lens from Sony is a wide-angle lens with excellent accuracy and depth of field, for Alpha & Minolta Maxxum DSLR cameras. It delivers a super-wide 94° angle of view, is corrects against visual aberrations, and provides a relatively shallow depth-of-field sharp foregrounds and smooth bokeh, or blurred background effects.

- With a maximum aperture of f/2.8 and minimum of f/22, this lens' high speed means you can capture images in darker conditions using faster shutter speeds and lower ISO sensitivity.
- For Alpha & Minolta Maxxum DSLRs
- Optimized for Sony Alpha cameras, this lens becomes the 35mm equivalent of a 30mm lens when attached to smaller cropped APS-C cameras.
- 7x Circular Aperture Blades
- Circular aperture blades produce smooth, rounded bokeh background effects when capturing spot-light sources in your pictures. Because the aperture blades form a near circle at the wide openings used for low-light shots, spot-light sources have a pleasing circular defocused effect.
- Rear Focusing System
- Lens elements at the rear of the lens move to increase auto-focus speed and help you catch quick action.
