Got the job done. Responsive remote buttons big enough to use with mittens. Water resistant is nice feature. Only draw back is ipod cannot have hold button so while ridding sometimes tracks get changed. They make a water proof pelican case for the ijet and ipod so that solves the problem. Cheap is another factor

Bought for remotely controlling an IPod while riding a motorcycle.
It controls start/stop, forward/reverse/, and volume.
The only negative is figuring out the initial synchronization. Once that's done right it's a nice product. Note that it only works with the larger IPods with the audio out plug on the top. Not compatible with bottom plug Nano's.

Right out of the box this product plugged in to the iPod and with a few instructions did its job. If you use an iPod when it is conceled under a jacket such as motor sports, cold weather activities etc.... this small affordable piece of technology keeps the control available when the player out of reach.

I sail and have my ipod connected in the cabin away from the salt air and water. Using this remote, i can control the music while sailing at the helm.

good price, ease of use, compact size.
One thing is missing though, These units are great for car stereos except that they do not allow the turn off feature that is built into car adaptors to work. If I use this unit in my car, I have to remember to stop the iPod every time I turn off the car. If I forget, I come back to an iPod with a low battery.
I don't know if the turn off feature is disabled or simply not connected through the feed through connector. Could someone please design it right?!

I bought this to control my iPod, which is stored in the trunk on my Honda Goldwing. It works very well for what it is. Small, functional, very useful and controls the iPod very well. If I were to have one small recommendation for improvement, it would be the hope that they could find a way to backlight the buttons for night-time riding.

Works great, once paired. Good range, great size. Mine is mounted on the motorbike bars, even works with gloves(just have to be careful which button I press) Pass through dock works fine. My mother even put one of these remotes through the wash, once cleaned and with new batteries it worked perfectly.
Remote does have slight lag on response, but no more then when using the ipod normally. Has flexible mounting options.

I got one of these a few months ago, the first unit I got did not function properly, it would not work thru walls as advertised. I contacted ABT directly and they were amazing at getting me a new product ASAP. The new product works great, it changes songs and volume thru walls so if you listen to with outside speakers with an indoor receiver, or from another room, you can easily skip songs, turn volume up, etc. I find this especially useful when having parties.
