From Crystal Partners, the Big Ears Parabolic Super Kit is a complete parabolic microphone dish system that provides everything needed for professional broadcasting, news gathering and field recording. The accuracy and range provided by parabolic microphone systems are commonplace in professional sports broadcasts, law enforcement, rescue and homeland security. The Big Ears Super Kit provides a custom Sennheiser MKE 2 lavalier microphone, an industry favorite for its size, sound and accuracy. A lavalier holder (chamber) is supplied to secure the microphone and improve accuracy and range.
Additional accessories include the MD1 portable microphone preamplifier and headphone monitor tap. The HD1 headphones provide secure audio monitoring of microphone audio without residual noise. The RD1 electronic site features a red-dot target pointer for accurate placement. The Super Kit is the choice for anyone who desires an all-in-one parabolic microphone system for professional broadcast and recording application.
Note! This Parabolic Microphone kit is designed for broadcast applications and is not recommended for Military and Tactical use. Non-sealed components emit radio waves that may result in explosive and fire hazards.
- Custom Sennheiser MKE 2
- Included is a custom version of the famed Sennheiser MKE 2 lavalier microphone (only available through Crystal Partners). The custom design is made to fit the included lavalier chamber. The Sennheiser MKE 2 is long favored for its size, accuracy, frequency response and range.
- Complete Kit
- In addition to the MKE 2 and Big Ears parabolic dish, the Super Kit includes a microphone preamplifier / headphone tap, headphones, electronic site, control bars, neck strap, silent gloves and carrying case.
- Extended Range
- The Big Ears parabolic dish is designed to accurately capture audio with great detail of up to 500-feet away. The combination of Kevlar, Butyrate and Acrylic materials, along with the parabolic design enable great range and accuracy.
