The XENA 2K 10-Bit Dual-Link HD/SD PCI-X Video Capture Card for Windows from AJA is an excellent choice for your HD and SD capture needs for PC. The card supports analog S-Video, component and composite video connections as well as standard definition SDI digital video connections. The card supports 10-bit uncompressed video with full 4:4:4 and 4:4:4:4 HD and HSDL support, delivering broadcast-quality video capture and output. - XENA I/O Options
- The XENA 2K's analog interfaces are among the best in the industry. Using superb quality 10-bit video A/D and D/A converters, analog formats like BetaCam SP have never looked better. XENA LSe supports 8- and 10-bit uncompressed digital video input as well as 12-bit analog video output in both HD and SD.
- HD and 2K Frame Support
- The XENA 2K fully supports SDI, HD-SDI, Dual Link SD, HD-SDI 4:4:4 and 4:4:4:4 and HDSL video. The card also allows capture of 2K frame video, allowing you to directly connect to a telecine for high-quality film to digital transfer.
- Broadcast Quality Conversion
- You'll be able to up-, down- and cross-convert video to 10-bit broadcast quality. This lets you prepare HD video for SD broadcasts or upconvert SD video for an HD broadcast with full hardware quality color depth and reproduction.
- Audio Features
- The card supports balanced analog, AES/EBU and embedded audio I/O all at 24-bits and 48 kHz. For simplified system integration, the XENA LSe also includes hardware sample-rate conversion for AES inputs. This helps to eliminate difficulties with synchronizing audio and video.
- Software Support
- The card supports such popular Windows video applications as Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, After Effects 7.0, Photoshop CS/CS2, Autodesk Combustion 4 and Eyeon Fusion5. The AJA Machina software application for Windows is also included to let you capture and play back video.
