The Tele Vue TV-60 IS is surprisingly portable, yet performs like much larger units. It is the smallest of the Tele Vue imaging systems meant for both electronic capture and real-time viewing.
The TV-60 refractor has been modified with a larger rear lens group to absolutely minimize vignetting in formats up to 50mm diagonal. A field corrector lens was developed for these large chips, ensuring the corners of the newly brightened edges would virtually be as perfect as the center of the field in your images. In order to take full advantage of the larger lenses, a non-vignetting focuser was developed to prevent any restriction of the larger converging light cone.
Built on solid, field-proven technology, the Tele Vue TV-60 Imaging System is offered as a flexible platform for world-class astronomical and terrestrial imaging in a field-friendly package. It includes the TV-60 optical tube assembly, a Focusmate fine focus mechanism, and SLR camera adapter (plus case and dovetail mounting plate).
