The Tele Vue-102iis is large enough to be considered a serious deep sky instrument, yet small enough to be checked as luggage upon a commercial aircraft.

The NP102 refractor has been adapted with a larger rear lens group to absolutely minimize vignetting in formats up to 50 mm diagonal. For these large chips an optional field corrector was developed so the corners of the newly brightened edges would virtually be as perfect as the center of the field. In order to take full advantage of the larger lenses, a non-vignetting focuser was developed to prevent any restriction of the larger converging light cone.

Built on solid, field-proven technology, the Tele Vue-NP102 Imaging System is offered as platform for world-class astronomical and terrestrial imaging in a field-friendly package.
