This Nite Ize White LED Module Upgrade is for C & D Maglites that use from 2 to 6 cells. The upgrade replaces the original incandescent bulb in the maglite with a white 0.8 w one lamp LED module.
The LED module extends battery life longer than incandescent bulbs. The LED module should have a 10 Year lamp life or 100,000 hours of continuous burn time. LED bulbs are more shock resistant then incandescent bulbs. The LED lamp has a brilliant pure white quality while incandescent bulbs have a yellow hue.REVIEWS

You won't be sorry. This upgrade is equivelent or better than the krypton incandescent bulb that comes in most premium flashlights, such as Maglights. The advantages are dependability and battery longevity. Once you realize that you need a practical flashlight and not a tactical one, all you keyboard commandos will buy this bulb and be happy for the rest of your life.It lasts forever, and since it doesn't turn battery power into heat, the batteries last and last. My choice for my D cell lights. I hate the dark.

Awesome, I am pumped I didn't have to buy another maglite to future proof it. This little LED looks much brighter at night to the naked eye and uses 10x less battery energy. It looks bighter because it has a more white-blue or cooler temperature than regular incandescent bulbs.

I bought it to upgrade and old friend. Haven't really used it for anything since I was stationed as a UN soldier in former X-Jugoslavia back in the 90'ies. It deserved a nice upgrade. Never go down on equipment...
