Roscoe 1/4 Blue CTB Color Conversion Gel Filter - This filter is traditionally used to convert tungsten lighting to daylight. CTB (Color Temperature Blue) filters are available in a full spectrum of degrees (strengths) which, depending on your needs, can be used to either raise the temperature of your lighting or used to create different lighting interpretations.
CTB filters offer you complete control when shooting under tungsten lighting.

good color accuracy but (as with most gels) I find them too thin for my liking. I haven't seen any options for a thicker gel?!?!

This filter is quite a bit thinner than the Bogen filters, but not being an experienced lighting expert, I don't know their comparative longevity. I was a bit surprised that the roll was shipped all by itself in a huge box with tons of packing peanuts, but I guess it doesn't get hurt that way.
