Gefen FireWire Repeater 400
The FireWire Repeater 400 from Gefen is a repeater that allows you to increase the distance between your computer and a FireWire device by up to 33' (10 m). With one repeater, you can place a device up to 66' (20 m) from a computer. Repeaters can be daisy-chained for distances of up to 250' (76 m). The repeater is powered by a 6-Pin FireWire-400 port on your computer, although an optional AC adapter can be connected when a computer cannot provide enough power. This is a great way to extend the distance between your FireWire device and computer.
