The Gefen EXT-HDMI-242 switcher routes high definition video in multiple resolutions up to 1080p plus multichannel digital audio from two sources. Inputs accommodate the simultaneous connection of up to two high definition video sources, such as satellite systems and HD DVD players. Outputs send the high definition audio/video signals of up to two high definition displays. A digital audio output port is available if you need to direct the audio to an audio receiver.

- Maintains highest resolution single link video to the dual operational display.
- Remote Switching
- Switching between computers is done from the 2x2 Switcher remotely using the RMT-4IR, IR remote control or via RS-232.
- Digital Audio
- This device supports digital audio, the integrity of the digital audio is assured using HDMI inputs and Toslink connections.
- Resolutions
- Supports a variety of VESA standard and HDTV resolutions.
- High Definition Content Protection
- In order to see HDTV with HDCP compliance, the source, the display and any device in between must be equipped with DVI connections that can enable HDCP decoding, such as the 2x2 HDMI Digital Audio Switcher.
