The Dynalite Twinkle Studio Strobe Kit includes 2- 400 watt/second fan-cooled monolights with tilt brackets, sync and 120 volt AC power cords. It is very lightweight, and perfect for location shooting as well as studio use. The light stands rise to a maximum height of 6.5 feet, and the entire kit fits into the included soft padded case.
The variator dial clicks from full to 1/32 power, in 1/2 EV increments. The 200 watt modeling light offers 3-way switching: full, half, and off. The built in optical slave may be switched off, as well as the audible flash confirmation beep.
The light stands in this kit each have a 3/8" threaded top to allow mounting of each monolight. The Twinkle requires a Rapid Stand Adapter with a 3/8" threaded top, if it is being used on top of a light stand with a standard Baby Stud top.
Note:Although the Twinkle can recycle in as little as 2.1 seconds, do not fire at that rate for more than a few shots at a time.

Comments about Dynalite Twinkle 2 Monolight Studio Strobe Kit (120VAC):
I use the Comet Twinkle set for all my indoor portrait needs. I use the included Dynalite umbrellas (excellent quality) and I also have softboxes too. I am giving the set 5 stars on the strength and quality of the strobe themselves. However, there are a few caveats. First, the included stands are small and weak. Sure this set is light, but the stands won't make you happy. Second, the reflectors are the 3" variety, not the standard 7". This becomes important if you want to use standard grids. You can buy the 7" reflectors, but they are pricey. I have owned these strobes for over 3 years and they are fan cooled and very easy to control the output.
