Perfect for warming light from flash or, when doubling the gel, balancing white balance of flash to ambient tungsten light when shooting indoors.

Not much to say here except, it's a Rosco gel. There's a reason Rosco is THE name in this realm. 20x24 is enough for a long, long time if you use speedlights.
I use this for color-balancing with small hotshoe-mountable flashes (e.g. 580 EX II), but its large size permits placing it in front of studio flashes with gel frames.

Simply cut a piece to the shape of your flash and use two small pieces of gaff tape to hold it in position. This was used during a reception for a 50th wedding anniversary and at first I thought it was a waste because the display was showing everything was underexposed but in reality it was tack on. After some VERY minor PP to the images it appeared as if the flash was not used since the 1/2 CTS balanced the flash to the same temp as the room.
The roll is large enough to last for may years.
The only issue to be aware of is to compensate your flash output since you will loose about a 1/3-2/3 stop. This is not a negative just something to be aware of since after all you are defusing the flash.

I purchased this based on the recommendations of others. I'm currently using it with a Hasselblad 503cx D Flash 40 and Fuji 400 speed film. I also purchased the full straw CTS.

I use this filter to color balance my speedlights during weddings so that they better match the warm, tungsten lights. They work just as I hoped. Also, the roll is so large I won't need a new one for many years.

I use this to color correct my flash with tungsten lights. I use this gel more than the full straw CTS version. One sheet will give you plenty to last you a long while.

This is a must to balance ambient light with a strobe/flash.
Cut a piece to cover the lens of the flash and you are set.

I use the gel as a warming filter for my Quantum Flashes and Nikon Speedlights. Produces nice light quality. It takes a strobe half-way towards tungsten.
