The Smith-Victor FL140 Three Light Studio Kit with Boom Arm is one of the most economical three light monolight kits available. Each light is rated @ 100 watt/seconds. This kit provides up to 300 watt/seconds, which is enough power for a small portrait set up.

Each light is switchable between full and 1/2 power, using a switch on the back of each flash head.

To soften the light output, two black-backed white umbrellas are included, as well as three aluminum stands. As an added extra, a short lighting manual is included, with tips on different lighting techniques.

This kit does a great job if you are looking for an inexpensive alternative for additional flash fills. I am using this setup as a flash fill for product photography. I bought this kit because of price and easy to setup on location, thus, keeping my good flash heads in the studio to avoid damage from transport!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
