Good quality lighting, ideal for studio although light can be harsh, so diffusers might be a good idea to buy in addition.
The boom stand is particularly good as it offers more flexibility, but does need to be weighted in order to keep it steady as the light unit is heavy and will topple the stand.
Overall a good buy.

We use these lights for catalog and web photos. Wether we are shooting close-up or at 12 feet, these lights more than suffice. We will, however, be ordering the filters to diffuse some of the sharp reflections.

These lights are a quality product. Solid construction, easy to assembly and use. The entire package is of a quality I have not seen in other similar products I have used.
The boom arm and stand setup does require a fair amount of weight on the legs of the stand to keep the unit from falling forward due to weight of the light unit.
