Smith-Victor FLB-4 1050 Watt 3-Light Fluorescent 48" Tent Kit (120V)
The Smith Victor FLB-4 1050 Watt 3-Light Fluorescent 48" Tent Kit (120V) puts out as much light as a 1050 watt tungsten halogen kit. It includes 3- FL3 Fluorescent Flood Lights, each of which accepts 3- screw-in fluorescent bulbs. The light stands included rise to a maximum height of 8'. The MB110 Boom Arm allows lighting the setup from overhead.
The 48x48x48" Smith Victor Light Tent with Black and White Sweeps is a high-quality, translucent cloth material housing for photographing small and medium product groups that can be lit with daylight, HMI, electronic flash, fluorescent quartz and tungsten light sources.
The Light Tent can be lit from the sides, top, back, front or can be placed on a shooting table for bottom illumination. It includes a removable white, and a black sweep, offering alternative backgrounds. Optional colored cloth or paper sets are available to add variety to backgrounds.
- Shooting Tent size is suitable for multiple item jewelry setups and multiple small objects.
- Each of the long-lasting ceramic sockets has a spot/flood control.
- Flicker-free, and cool-running -- good for film, digital, or video use.

I actually ended up purchasing the same light tent but in size 28" for immediate use. I will use the 48" later. I did use the lights though. The lights surprisingly work very well with the CFL bulbs and the stands are very sturdy and easy to adjust. This kit really facilitates taking pictures of products as lighting is everything. I still use a flash on most pictures. This was much easier than my past setups with multiple flashes and reflective umbrellas.
