Carl Zeiss has a long and illustrious history that begins in Germany in 1846. Since their inception, they have been known to be leaders in the world of optical designs and fine mechanics. Purchasing and using a riflescope from the creators of many of the world's most revered optical and mechanical designs ensures satisfaction, confidence and appreciation for how a truly fine optic can enhance your outdoor experience.
Victory and conquest are dependent on fortitude and wisdom. An experienced hunter knows that the best odds to bring home a trophy occur when light is at a premium, and that the shot will probably be longer than anticipated. The Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14x50 Riflescope gives you the tactical advantages you need to beat the odds, and make your hunt a huge success.
Considerable distances are easily handled by the high powered 4.5-14x magnification and the AO (adjustable objective) parallax correction feature. Nitrogen purging of the rugged one piece main tube ensures a clear, crisp sight picture regardless of the weather or changes in temperature. The low-light performance of this optic is remarkable, thanks to the ample 50mm objective lens with Carl Zeiss multicoatings on all air to glass surfaces. This coating technology reduces flare and glare under difficult lighting conditions, allowing you to see details that might otherwise go unnoticed. Elevate your technique to a new level; make your next hunt memorable with the Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14x50 today.
To use a riflescope with your firearm, you'll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. By affixing the scope mounted rings to the rifle mounted base you create a reliable, accurate, and secure sighting system. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.

Comments about Zeiss 4.5-14x50 AO MC Conquest Riflescope (Matte Black):
Has great glass and I really enjoy having the target turrets again. Very good value. The only thing I wish it had was a zero-stop on the turret.

Comments about Zeiss 4.5-14x50 AO MC Conquest Riflescope (Matte Black):
I had a Nikko Sterling Platinum 3-10X45WA fitted to my 7mm rem mag. I found that this scope was great for shooting out to 300 yds - even in not so great conditions, but found that longer targets under low light lost a lot of crispness. To the extent that I would turn down the shot.
I needed a scope that would help me get an idea of the target range (especially if further than 300 yds) which meant mildot ret; I needed to be able to adjust for longer shots (out to 500 yds) which meant target turrets and I needed great glass to give me the crispness at those ranges under low light.
The Zeiss fit the bill perfectly and comes with a great reputation. The scope arrived in New Zealand in great shape and was very well packaged. I mounted it on the 7 mm rem mag straight away and was blown away by the clarity. The scope was perfect for what I needed. The side focus is extremely user friendly and the eye relief is perfect.
I sighted the scope in at the range and found it to be very easy and user friendly. The target turrets work very well for what they are designed for and I can not fault the scope at all.
One thing that was missing from the manual though was the magnification setting at which the mildot system worked. I later found out via word of mouth that it is at 10x magnification on the Zeiss Conquest scopes. No other issues in setting it up and using it.
I can't comment as yet on how it stands up under hard use conditions (I have only had it on the target range), but from the build quality, I'm sure it will do great. This is a great product at a great price. Highly recommended!
