Rolls RS80 - Quartz PLL Synthesized AM/FM Tuner
The Rolls RS80 is a rack-mountable quartz PLL synthesized AM/FM tuner ideal for situations where reliability and sound quality are of the utmost importance. This unit is usable worldwide, thanks to programmable 9-10kHz AM centers switching. It will store up to 40 FM and AM stations, even when the power is off. A large LCD display provides an easy readout.
The RS80 has several buttons for selection of stations, presets, muting, and auto-searching. It has RCA and XLR connectors so you can send the radio signal to the output of your choice. A remote control is included as well.

I use this tuner as a rack mounted receiver with my studio mixer for a background audio sound source. The receiver sounds excellent with FM. AM sound quality is good but not at the same level as FM. This receiver is well made with durable controls along with a remote that includes a standby switch. AM and FM antennas are included with the reciever. The FM antenna is particularly good. Very compact unit.

Rack mount tuner with lots of bells and whistles, large orange LCD display, XLR or RCA outputs, switchable voltage, presets, RDS display, remote control. Comes with an antenna. No country of origin, but remote says made in China. Looks like the ROLLS label was an afterthought and just silk screened, we assume, after import. We just wanted a reliable air monitor and it's fine for our remote studio.
