A premium DVD-based home entertainment system, the Bose Lifestyle 28 Series III DVD Home Entertainment System delivers a cinema experience to your own home. To help create the movie theater experience, this system includes five acoustically matched, uniquely designed, Direct/Reflecting cube speaker arrays and an improved Acoustimass module Subwoofer.
The 28-III's integrated progressive scan DVD player, plays the most popular audio and video content. Proprietary Videostage 5 decoding circuitry delivers five-channel surround sound from any source. And the A/V remote control, controls TV, VCR and cable or satellite components.

- Multiplies the effects of Dolby Pro Logic and DSP to provide the best possible Pro Logic movie theater recreation in your home. Tri-Field Processing DSP does the same for Dolby Digital. The surround modes include: Dolby Pro Logic/Enhanced, Dolby Digital/Enhanced, 70mm Movie Theater, Mono Movie, TV Sports, Disco, Rock Concert and Concert Hall.
- Preset AM and FM Stations
- Up to 50 can be grouped in two groups. These groupings make it easy for family members to easily access their favorite stations or to have musical genres, such as all the jazz stations, grouped together.
- Progressive Video Processor
- Converts film source signals to 480P output for reproduction of recorded information that is more faithful to original; can convert interlaced to progressive scanning for exceptionally accurate 480P signal.
- Direct/Reflecting Cube Speaker Arrays
- These cube speaker arrays can be swiveled, allowing you to reflect sound off the walls as well as project it directly into the room. The result is full, spacious sound throughout the room - not just in one small "sweet spot."
