Comments about SanDisk 4GB Extreme IV CompactFlash Card:
In short, what are the two primary functions you want from a compact "flash" card? Besides it being "compact," it's got to be fast and reliable. The Extreme IV CompactFlash card has got it in spades, and then some.

Comments about SanDisk 4GB Extreme IV CompactFlash Card:
I'm Professional Photographer and these cards seem to be really great. They are high speed, faster then the Kingston Economy Cards I had and they are reliable. When I take repeated shots my Canon 30D doesn't lag at all, the cards keep up with me.

Much better speed than Ultra or Extreme III cards. Worth the extra price if you plan on taking many pictures.

The SanDisk Extreme IV flash cards are awesome for their speed and capacity.I use them for basic photos of the family, but I did buy these specifically for taking pictures of my grandson pitching at his baseball games. With the speed of these cards I don't miss a thing. After the game we can go back through the pictures and he can check his form on every pitch.THEY'RRRRE GREAT !!!

I love this SanDisc IV.With my previous card I would at times have to wait for it to catch up on long bursts. Now even though I went to a 7D which is capable of 8 fps I never experience any problems on long continuous bursts with the Extreme IV

Comments about SanDisk 4GB Extreme IV CompactFlash Card:
Currently using the product on a Canon 5D MKII for pictures and HD movie recording. While the card's performance is a function of the speed of the card and the camera's specs, I found the card to be very responsive, particularly on a UDMA-compliant camera like the 5D. Also tested on the 20D and worked as advertised

As an advanced digital photo semi-pro, whose interest is shooting travel and landscape scenes I need a fast, large capacity CF Card for my 12mb pictures that I shoot with my Canon 5D Digital camera. The 4GB Extreme IV Flash Card by SanDisk, exceeds all of my critical performance expectations at a rock bottom price. Thank you and keep up the advanced product research.

Comments about SanDisk 4GB Extreme IV CompactFlash Card:
I was used to using the Ultra IIs and decided to get a couple of these when I purchased my 5D mk2. This is a fantastic combination. I have to keep checkeing my image count because I can just shoot forever without any buffer delay. Just plain awsome! Now if I could just afford about a dozen of the 16mb cards...

Comments about SanDisk 4GB Extreme IV CompactFlash Card:
I'm a professional wedding photographer and shoot large amounts of photos on weddings (sometimes 14 hours days) I easily fill five or six of these cards on a day. All to capture just the right moments and emotions. That's the deal, right? These cards give me the right tool for that not having to worry about them. They are fast and reliable as heck. I have never had one go down on me and I put them through a lot of use (filling/downloading/formatting...daily!) That being said, Sandisk Extreme III or IV cards are the only cards I will ever buy. That's just it! Point blank! They are the best complete with rescue software, and the current deal at BH is unbeatable (talking about the mail-in). GO FOR IT!

Comments about SanDisk 4GB Extreme IV CompactFlash Card:
By far the fastest CF card I have ever used.
Transferring HD movies shot on a 5D MkII using a SanDisk firewire 800 card reader is a breeze and is complete in the a few bats of an eyelid.
They might not be the cheapest cards out there but I'm more than willing to pay that extra to see the transfer progress bar racing along faster than a hair rather than sitting twiddling my thumbs waiting for a budget slower card.
A little frustrated that the software with the card comes on a mini cd that I can't use in my PowerBook .
