The Smart-UPS SC 420VA 120V Surge Protector and Battery Backup from APC provides power protection and battery backup for office computer systems. The UPS provides surge protection and battery backup via 4 outlets. It yields an average output power capacity of 420 VAC at 260 watts and the battery lasts up to 13.5 minutes at half-load capacity.

- Battery Backup
- The user-replaceable battery provides 13.5 minutes of backup at half-load and 5.5 minutes of backup at full-load. This gives you enough time to safely shut down your computer in the event of a power outage.

- The UPS features an RJ-45 surge protection connection that allows you to protect Ethernet, phone or DSL connections from power surges. This helps to preserve the life of your modem or DSL modem and further protect your computer from surges.

- Serial Communication
