International Orders*The Ag-Plus Photographic Extra-Sensitivity Emulsion - 1 Quart from Rockland is an enlargement-speed photo chemical for use in the darkroom. Its extra silver-halide content makes it ideal for use in-camera, for tintypes or ambrotypes, or for making oversize prints at a significant distance from the enlarger. Processing and final appearance of prints made with Ag-Plus are the same as those made with Liquid Light.
Rockland emulsions are non-flammable and odorless, with no phenol or VOC's (volatile organic compounds), and are totally safe to use in darkrooms. They stay fog-free for years, ensuring that they can last quite a while on the shelf. Fast enough for big enlargements, the emulsion is not over-sensitive to safelight exposure during the coating and drying steps. There is nothing you need to add before use.
The emulsion's contrast is medium high, roughly equivalent to that of a #3 paper. Lower contrast can be obtained by utilizing a soft-acting developer, if so desired. Prints made with Ag-Plus are truly archival due to the colloidal silver image, and won't fade if correctly processed.
