I use this foil to make snoots and flags. The foil works well but it's thinner and a little less sturdy than I wanted. There's no place on the item web page that tells me the thickness or relative weight.

It is so versatile. I use it for flagging lights, and also as gobos etc... its so cool.

I really liked this product. I used it to make my own top hat lighting solution while I am waiting for a more sturdy solution to ship. It works very well at focusing the light where I want it without leaking out the sides.

I use the black cinefoil for light modification, either as a home made "cookie"
or snooting down the snoots for a narrower beam of light. Sometimes I use it as a modifier of a specific shape for speedlights when a commercially made light modifier isn't quite the shape I need.
The cinefoil is very pliable and lends itself to other lighting issues not mentioned previously.
For some applications it should be a heavier guage aluminum.

Gaffer essential to cut light create quick gobos extend barn doors... I choosed the 12" version over the 24" to make it easier to bring it on location.

This foil is an absolute must on any set. It has so many different uses than your standard barn doors. Keeps the light and shadows where every professional photographer wants them. Totally under control. Can get very hot so caution must be used working with it.

Rather handy to shape light out of a Speedlight. Reusable, and low bulk. Only complaint is that the black rubs off after some use.

I used this product to work as gobo, strip lights, snoot, etc. So flexible and can be reused so this should last for a while.
