Rosco Matte Black Cinefoil - 24"x25' Roll
Matte Black Cinefoil is a matte black aluminum material that virtually soaks up light. Ideal for masking light leaks and/or eliminating unwanted reflections.
It can be quickly molded to form barndoors, flags and other configurations.
Lightweight, yet durable, Cinefoil can be quickly positioned in place with tape, staples or adhesives.

I'm a filmmaker and having black foil in your bag is just necessary...you're going to use it believe me! Especially when you are on a budget like me and when your running and gunning. You can create flags, snoots etc. rather quickly.

Cinefoil, where have you been all my life? I was turned on to Cinefoil when reading the blog of a photographer I follow. He had a small video demo-ing the Cinefoil and after watching, I went straight to B&H and placed my order.
I have made snoots and flags for my flash units from everything from cor-plast to foam core to vinyl. All work great, but take some time to make and can take up quite a bit of room in the Pelican cases I use to house my flash equipment.
Cinefoil is simple to make a quick modifier out of and folds flat and small when you are done. Items made from Cinefoil may not last as long as the other materials I mentioned previously, but with the 24" wide x 25' long roll, I am sure I won't run out anytime soon.
