The Bosch VJ10E2935 is a single channel video and audio decoder that goes beyond standard decoders with features such as a Compact Flash card slot, wireless card option and built-in motion detection. With up to 2GB of storage capacity, the built-in Compact Flash card slot offers an easy way to retrieve and transfer short term event footage. The Compact Flash card slot will also accept an optional standard 802.11b wireless LAN card, allowing the unit to be installed in areas with no provisions for Ethernet wiring such as inside a camera housing or in a moving vehicle.
- Single Channel Decoder
- This unit is designed to decode a video signal coming from a network camera for viewing on a standard NTSC or PAL monitor. Video can also be viewed on any PC on the network with an Internet Explorer browser or by installing Bosch's exclusive VIDOS software for better device management. When used in conjunction with a video encoder, media can be sent and received entirely over the network, eliminating the need for a local PC.
- Compact Flash Card Slot
- Video can be stored locally to an optional Compact Flash card with up to 2GB in flash memory for quick retrieval and transfer of crucial footage. Compact Flash cards or Micro Drives can also be used as backup storage in the event a network outage in conjunction with an Automatic Network Replenishment program.
- Wireless Network Option
- The Compact Flash card slot will also accept an 802.11b wireless LAN allowing its use in areas without Ethernet wiring such as inside camera housings or mobile surveillance applications.
- Dual Stream Video
- Video is decoded in two separate streams, allowing a user to choose different quality levels for viewing and recording depending on a particular storage capacity and bandwidth requirement.
- Motion Detection
- In addition to alerting an operator to unexpected activities, a built-in motion detection system conserves storage space and offers easy searching by limiting recording to pre-alarm and motion detection events.
- Bi-Directional Audio
- By attaching an optional microphone and amplified speaker, two-way voice communication is possible between a person at the camera location and a PC user over the network.
- Alarm and Relay Connectors
- Various sensors can be attached to trigger alarms or to activate devices like locking and unlocking a door following an event.
- PTZ Control
- This unit is fully accessible from any PC on the network for viewing devices, changing parameters and operating the pan, tilt and zoom of PTZ dome cameras.
- Password Protection
- This unit is protected from unauthorized users by a password authentication system configurable for multi level access.
