This kit includes 2
Eartec Wireless Beltpacks (1 Master, 1 Remote), which work independently, or with wireless or hybrid intercom systems. No base station is required.
The units operate in full-duplex mode, offering hands-free communication with no buttons to push. They are not voice activated. Once the units are turned on, you have full simultaneous communication between both users at all times.
The units are microprocessor controlled, and use a frequency hopping architecture called Spread Spectrum, which transmits signals digitally instead of using traditional radio waves. This eliminates the need for base stations, providing greater mobility and allowing you to carry and store less equipment.
With a range up to a 1/4 mile, and up to 8 hours of battery life packed into a slim housing with a volume control and flexible antenna, this is a great choice for your on-the-job communication needs.
A headset is required for each beltpack and must be purchased separately.
