The Bosch ADM0232 is a surveillance software package designed to give a system administrator complete control over a complex security environment consisting of an Allegiant switcher with all its associated digital video recorders, cameras and keyboards from a single Windows based PC via an IntuiKey keyboard.

This ADIM software includes licensing for up to 4096 video channels and as with all ADIM software packages supports the control of up to 800 DVRs and up to 16 keyboards in a master or satellite configuration. The software installs in a basic PC and is compatible with all Allegiant systems, most Hi-Q DVRs and all Divar series DVRs with firmware 1.2 or higher.

A fully configured ADIM turnkey system consists of a single Allegiant system, single or multiple DVRs, an IntuiKey keyboard, a PC computer, a serial hub and a network switch.

• Integrates Allegiant Switching with Divar DVR Recording: ADIM is a software package designed to integrate the sophistication of an Allegiant system switcher with the speed and reliability of the Divar series digital video recorders. Once installed, an operator has complete control over a complex security environment consisting of an Allegiant system, up to 800 DVRs and up to 16 keyboards from a single PC workstation via an IntuiKey keyboard.

• IntuiKey Keyboard Control: Operations that would otherwise require multiple numeric entries on a keyboard, DVR or switcher, is easily accomplished by pressing a single button on the IntuiKey keyboard. An operator can instantly bring up any camera for viewing on a monitor or for recording to any Divar DVR. An operator can also use the keyboard to quickly bring up recorded material from any of the 800 supported DVRs while using the built-in joystick to FF and rewind through recorded footage. The joystick also provides an operator with smooth control over the pan, tilt and zoom of any PTZ dome camera attached to the Allegiant switcher or Divar DVR.

• Multi-Image Viewing: As with most switchers and DVRs, the ADIM system is completely configurable for camera display modes. Cameras can be viewed in full screen one at a time or in various groups of multiple cameras on one screen. Switching between cameras or recorded footage can be done manually or by programming sequential switching with dwell times for each video channel. Furthermore, Bosch Divar DVRs support simultaneous recording and playback, ensuring that no footage is lost while viewing live video.

• Fail-Safe Operation: ADIM incorporates many features to ensure fail-safe operation. This includes the continuous monitoring of all associated DVRs for proper recording and archiving with the ability to view and print system status in real time. In the event of a DVR or hard drive failure, ADIM will automatically redirect recording to a functional DVR or RAID 5 disk array with backup protection. For added security, ADIM synchronizes the clock of the Allegiant switcher with all the DVRs and uses video authentication to preserve the integrity of critical footage.
