Very useful - All through hiking in New Zealand (both in a rainforest and up a mountain) this little landyard kept my camera on my wrist and in my hand, without it falling off or causing rope burns.
Highly recommended - maybe a little pricey, but worth it if you plan on keeping your camera on your wrist all day!
