The Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z700 Digital Camera, combines the high-resolution performance of a 7.2 megapixel effective resolution CCD delivering extraordinary photographic detail with Casio's Super Bright LCD for easy viewing in broad daylight. The long-life battery packs enough power for around 460 still images on a single charge, and the camera comes with Casio's Anti Shake DSP to reduce photo blur due to shaky hands or moving subjects. All in all, the EX-Z700 strikes an extremely attractive balance between slim, stylish looks and high-performance functionality. Furthermore the camera exhibits very high performance for an ultra-compact camera with a start-up time of less than 1 second and a shutter lag of less than 1/100 of a second, so you'll always be able to catch that sudden photo moment.

- The EX-Z700 offers high-resolution quality for a wide range of needs, from beginner to professional. The 7.2 megapixel high resolution CCD chip delivers excellent quality with full color brilliance and sharpness - even poster-size printouts in excellent quality are possible.
- Fast 3x Optical Zoom
- The EX-Z700 is only about as thick as your little finger - but has a 3x optical zoom, so you will be able to see the finest details and always be in the thick of the action.
- Exilim Engine
- The Exilim Engine delivers breathtaking high-speed performance with extremely quick release time lag, start up, image scrolling, and shot-to-shot times.
- Rapid Flash
- By dividing the amount of light that the flash would normally use during a single shot, the continuous flash feature allows you to shoot up to three photos on a single flash charge so you won't miss capturing special moments due to flash failure.
- Anti-Shake DSP
- The Anti Shake DSP (digital signal processor) provides higher sensitivity and faster shutter speeds to prevent image blurring due to hand or subject movement.
- Best Shot Modes
- The 37 scene Best Shot function enables selection of the appropriate camera setting for still photos via an easy to understand sample image menu. Simply follow the guidance that appears on the monitor screen to select the Best Shot scene that resembles the type of image you want to record, and the required camera settings are configured automatically. You can even save your own Best Shot Mode setups for instant recall whenever you need them. Some Best Shot Modes unique to the EX-Z700 includes Auto Framing which keeps dynamic subjects like playful, active children at the center of the photograph, eBay Best Shot takes photos at a size that is image optimized for display on eBay, allowing picture takers to more quickly and easily create photos for selling items on eBay, and Layout Shot to combine multiple shots of friends taken with the same scenic backdrop into a single collage, or even mix shots with different compositions to create a single artistic layout.
- Movie Functions
- Movies are recorded in VGA (640 x 480 pixels) at 30 frames per second (Motion JPEG), and using the "Motion Print" function, movies can be converted into a series of nine or one single image for printing. Furthermore, Movies can be zoomed in during playback, and the "Movie Editing" function offers three options (beginning, middle, end) for cutting unwanted scenes from a movie.

- The 2.7" LCD display helps capture and view more of your subjects to you don't miss a moment. The display gives you a clear view with high-resolution sharpness and brilliance, and the brighter screen allow you to view your movies and photos in a whole new light with enhanced color and clarity. For easy outdoor viewing the super bright LCD (1200cd/m2) can be adjusted automatically or using a manual setting.

- Despite its slim design and large monitor screen, the EX-Z700 delivers truly amazing battery life for a compact digital camera. A single charge provides enough power to take up to 460 still images on a single charge of the long life battery (CIPA standard).
- Built-in and Expandable Memory
- The EX-Z700 has 8.3MB of internal memory so you can start shooting immediately. The storage capacity an also be greatly expanded with either Secure Digital (SD), Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) or MultiMediaCard (MMC) media so you can save large numbers of photos and record movies in excess of an hour or more in duration.
- Direct Print Capable
- Connect the EX-Z700 directly to various printers and have your pictures in your hand shortly afterwards without having to use a computer. The camera supports PictBridge so you can connect your camera to printers from many different manufacturers.
