I'm using this item as an audio player only. It's is almost impossiblae to find a small stand alone cd-rw player.It's exactly what I had been looking for.

Great product as noted compact and easy to pack away for trip. Easy to use remote control. I wish it had a 12v adapter for the vehicle.

I bought this DVD player for my car because the factory installed DVD player stopped working, but I still have use of the screen. This system is quite compact so it fits right in the pocket on the back of my seat so that it doesn't slide around while driving. If it does move too much, the DVD will skip. It works well with a small voltage converter. The only problem is that the remote doesn't work very well, and you have to point it directly at the player and be very close to it:( Anyway, this was a quick [$] solution to an expensive problem so I was thrilled! Only have it a short time. Works as expected so far. I like that is comes with dual power supply as I am on a German camp using 220V for power.

This player will be used in hotels when we travel. It is really lightweight and small.

It seems to work fine and came with the various cables.

i use this item for dvd's..good thing about this dvd player it play any dvd i put in it..very light so it seems it will break easy if it is drop

I bought this to play movies and music on so my game consoles wouldn't have to stay on so long throughout the day, and that's exactly what this sub-$30 player does. I even have an rca-headphone converter (under $5 at [...]) so i can listen to cd's without using up a screen, effectively making this a cheaper alternative to buying a cd-player. It's not advertized but this does play cd-r's and dvd+-r's, at least the ones that i've tried.
