The Sound-Craft Systems ADA-1 Folding Lectern (Butternut) is the first portable floor lectern specifically designed to meet the needs of the mobility-impaired. The ADA-1 lectern addresses user needs with a dignified design at an affordable price. ADA compliant, gives you the appropriate line of sight to your audience and is ergonomically designed for maximum user comfort and utility.

The butternut polypropylene fabric carpet finish is spill and stain proof as well as resistant to abusive handling. Featuring built-in carrying grips, continuous steel hinges (which permit instantaneous folding), and a collapsed size of seven inches, the ADA-1 sets up in seconds without tools.

• ADA Guideline Compliant: Sound-Craft designed the ADA-1 to comply with current ADA wheelchair usage guidelines. The ADA-1 provides the appropriate line of sight from the presenter to the audience, and is ergonomically designed for maximum user comfort and utility.

• Easy Installation

Easy to carry, lightweight, and convenient, the ADA-1 sets at a moment's notice without tools, and with all integral components captive. Six full length hinges and a captured reading surface provide a rigid cabinet and stable reading surface.

Molded plastic recesses are incorporated on either side to provide a secure grip while transporting the lectern. The ADA-1 also includes four metal glides, one on each bottom corner, to let you easily position your set-up lectern exactly where you want it.

• Easy Storage: Continuous steel hinges allow instantaneous folding to seven inches thick when collapsed, letting you store your lectern just about anywhere.

• Solid Construction: The ADA-1 body is constructed of baltic birch plywood, which is framed with poplar strips. The work surface is also constructed baltic birch plywood and covered in a Nevamar Charcoal Matrix high pressure laminate with ARP coating. This special process results in a finish that is extremely scuff and scratch resistant. The portion of the work surface closest to the presenter is finished with a solid, lacquered natural oak trim piece that helps stop such items as papers and pencils from rolling off.

• Carrying Strips: The included built-in carrying grips let you locate your lectern exactly where you need it.

• Carpeted Finish: The butternut polypropylene carpet-like finish is extremely durable and abrasion, stain, and fade resistant. Touch-fastener compatible, it readily accepts signs or logos equipped with hook tape.

• Reading Light: The ADA-1 features a reading light with integral shade.
