I love the colour of this paper. I ordered it for a a 60's retro pin-up shoot and it was just perfect. Properly lit, it really pops and it's warm tone is very pleasing and complementary to flesh tones.I should point out that the the colour is a deep, golden yellow and looks nothing like a banana yellow, though I already knew this from other reviews. The B&H reference is pretty accurate, provided you are using a properly calibrated monitor. Just as with a lot of other users, I noted a bit of tearing at the tape points when getting it out of the box, but the tears were small; one of two inches and two others of one inch. I attribute this to the thickness of the paper, which is heavier than some others I've used, and the tension this causes when rolled and taped. I think that if Savage put a few more tape points on the roll they could probably eliminate this problem. [...]Overall, I'm very satisfied and will buy more Savage papers in the future, and when I do, my source will be B&H.

Used for Easter background- a lot darker than shown. It actually looks gold toned. Maybe my monitor is just off. Great paper as usual, though.

Great background. The B&H color reference is very close to the real color, of course, you have to pay attention to your monitor calibration. I would say YELLOW rather than Banana, maybe bananas from some other planet. In fact B&H reference shall be better than the SAVAGE posted on its website. But definitely I love this yellow.
