Portrait ,indoor, background non reflective, durable, doesnt tear easy.. unless is at the very edge of the starting paper, but if you apply some painter tape on the edge will fix it, and prevent from tearing

I really want a nice brown muslin but this is SO much cheaper. If I use it as much as I think I will, then I'll invest in a muslin.
Savage paper keeps arriving with huge tears- the first 40 inches of my roll was unusable! Why does savage treat their product so poorly in the packaging phase? big strips of masking tape holding it wound? There must be a better way.
Also, wouldn't it be awesome if they printed small marks down the edge letting you know how many feet or yards are left on the roll?

Comments about Savage Seamless Background Paper (107" x 12yds, #16 Chestnut):
I purchased this background paper with Newborn photos in mind. I already had three other colors of Savage paper, so I knew that Savage papers were top quality.
When trying to decide what color to get, I first considered both blue and pink, but then decided that I would likely have problems with matching the color of accessories and outfits. That's when I decided to go with a brown paper. I am able to use the brown background for both boy and girl pictures. I can change the color of the accessories as I please. I have also found that this color will work well with fall type photos.
When selecting backgrounds, I always try to think of how I can get the most bang for my buck by picking versatile colors. So far, I have Super White, Super Black, Thunder Gray, and this color. I would recommend all of them because they are all are very useful in many situations.

Comments about Savage Seamless Background Paper (107" x 12yds, #16 Chestnut):
The background is a wonderful shade of brown, perfect for portraits of adults, children and brides. I find that I can use it over and over again before I need to discard a portion of it. The only reason I didn't use a 5 star rating is that I find it difficult to attach to a background support without assistance.

I decided to try paper background as I'd always used muslin. 107" is huge when you can't fold it into a square. Also, the color is spot on what you see on your monitor and I think if I had a redo I would have chosen a shade darker. Very good stuff though, held up against a dog and a one year old. I will definitely be using more paper...maybe not so large. For the price this stuff is priceless

Comments about Savage Seamless Background Paper (107" x 12yds, #16 Chestnut):
I love how this photographs. It is a very trendy color right now and I find it useful for many different subjects. It was my first seamless purchase and I learned to be very careful when opening the package and untaping the paper for the first time. It tears easily even though it's very thick paper. Not a fault of the product b/c it is paper, but just a lesson learned.
