The Olympus Stylus 750 Digital Camera features a 5x optical zoom, and a 7.1 million pixel CCD for photos bursting with detail. The versatile 5x, zoom lens is equivalent to 36-180mm on a 35mm camera, and is great for capturing more general scenes or zooming in to capture specific details. - 5x Optical Zoom Lens
- With a high quality 5x optical zoom lens (equivalent to 36-180mm on a 35mm camera), the Olympus Stylus 740 is well suited to close-ups and telephoto photography. There is also a 5.6x digital zoom that when combined with the optical zoom yields 28x total zoom.
- Dual Image Stabilization
- Experience Olympus' advanced solution in preventing blurry images. The mechanical CCD shift and Digital Image Stabilization work together to provide sharp images, despite camera shake or moving subjects. As the photo is taken, the mechanical CCD shift image stabilizer compensates for camera shake by carefully adjusting the position of the CCD, and at the same time, the Digital Image Stabilization Mode (DIS) provides a high maximum ISO value to give further protection from the blur that is sometimes caused by a moving subject.

Mainly the image quality is low in spite of the 7.1 Mega Pixels. It may be a lens quality issue. Otherwise, I bought it for the compact size. You can carry it in pockets and hardly know it's there. Easy to find and use features.
