About me. I usually only buy the best and usual do well with my choices. I usually think long term
This stand is just ok for the price at 220 its about a mid range price. (3) 9foot rods (1) 12foot rod. Read whats in the box review always!!
Comes with 2 stands 4 Rods, yes 4 crossbars and they are not all the same in diameter. The thicker of the 4 rods is heavier in gauge.
The other 3 slowly become smaller in gauge for each rod. Why? Maybe to save weight? who knows.
There is little sagging so not to bad.
This is way too heavy to lug around anyways, so it should of stayed the same gauge.
It comes with 4 additional end clips so the rods can rest on them. It uses gravity to secure the rod to the clip. The clips are all metal so thats good! The vertical holder for the screw in fastener is plastic so you'll need to use the last clip that holds the last rod to help stop the vertical bar from slipping down. Because those end clips are metal it works perfect. Honestly it works better as a single roll or Muslin holder than a 3 holder.
The foot print is 3 feet or 36inches in diameter. People, get large sands bags regardless! Save space add the weight to add safety unlike the model below accident. Test it as if your own kids would be under it before using it!! Mine came in a box wrapped in bubble wrap. No Instructions No Case. Black color is great but may show stratches a little more but who cares!
The only Con I see is the plastic connectors. You dont need to tighten the thumb screws down!! use the ALL mental clip to secure it, you'll be fine!
If you over tighten it you'll risk of if cracking that plastic body. Again use that metal clip that holds the bottom rod and it will secure it just fine.
Happy Photoshoot!!

12' wide stand. But come to find out that only ONE bar is 12' wide and the other 2 bars are 9' wide. Which forces you to use all three at 9' wide if you want them all to be on the stand.
The bars are also pretty flimsy.
Not loving this item. But if you only need a stand that's 9' wide then it will work for you. (However standard muslin background are 10' wide.)

Comments about Savage Multiple Polevault System:
I was nervous about ordering this as I chose not to order the weighted sand bags. I was worried about it being top heavy when three rolls of the 107" paper were hanging. But, I haven't had a problem! I admit that I will be making some weighted sandbags, just for safety's sake. I was also surprised that the metal crossbar tubes appear to have different thicknesses.

It took a couple mins to set up but took longer to unpack. It is well made and goes together easily. It works well for what it is. [...] It was ok as the insides are all bubble wrapped.

I've read some not so great reviews about this product, but I don't know what those people are talking about. It's sturdy and easy to use. My shots look great, and if I had it to do all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

Its only had papers switched twice and the tightening piece broke and now can't hold it up on one side. awesome, huh for [$]? Totally light and flimsy. And I can believe that it hit a model on the head from the comment below! I agree, get a better brand.

Comments about Savage Multiple Polevault System:
A mechanism is needed to keep the rolls from unrolling. We are using clamps but they are difficult to implement while standing on a stool.
The product could be a little heavier duty.
Otherwise, we are pleased with the system and rate it at 3.5 stars.

Like the previous review...I was about to start a photoshoot when all of a sudden the one end came crashing down. A roll of BG paper hit my model in the head. Luckily she was ok. Upon inspection, the plastic collar that holds the tightening knobs cracked. Buy another brand. It is not safe. Especially if you have multiple rolls.

Comments about Savage Multiple Polevault System:
Adjusting the poles can be a bit cumbersome at first, but in the end, the polevault came in very handy. It gave me the quick set changes I was looking for in between shoots. I would recommend this product to photographers with portable studios...
Comments about Savage Multiple Polevault System:
I bought this thinking it was a great value, however a couple days after I set it up for a shoot, I noticed a major crack in the plastic where you tighten the knobs. I loosened the knob & the whole side collapsed & the middle roll of paper came crashing down, almost falling on me. I'm not sure if this is typical, but I would advise you that cheap material was used in constructing this product.

This is my first backdrop stand purchase. I'm very pleased with it. It is very sturdy and I love the flexibility of using 3 backdrops without taking them on and off the stand. Very easy to set up and use.

This product is worth it's price tag and saves time when shooting fast is what you need to accomplish. Three rolls in one make it easy to switch paper quickly in a hurry. There is nothing bad I can say about it!

Easy to set up, use, and take down. Great for using cloth, paper, or both at the same time. I don't know how I took pictures without it. We ordered one for the office, when I saw how great this product was, I bought one for my personal use.Great value for the money.Bravo
