The Atto Celerity FC-42ES Dual-channel 4-Gb Fibre Channel Host Adapter from Avid is a PCI Express expansion card that allows you to connect 2 Fibre Channel devices to your computer. The card features dual 4 Gb Fibre Channel ports with optical connectors, but it is fully compatible with 2 Gb and 1 Gb Fibre Channel devices. The card supports speeds of up to 800 MB/sec per channel, making this an excellent solution for your high-speed data access needs.
- Fibre Channel Connection
- The 4 Gb Fibre Channel connection translates into data transfer rates of up to 800 MB/sec. This gives you enough bandwidth to work with such data intensive applications as video editing, music production and database development.
- Advanced Fibre Channel Functions
- The controller supports many advanced Fibre Channel functions including the SNIA HBA API and Windows FDMI and WMI. It also supports Target and Initiator modes and is fully backwards compatible with 2 Gb and 1 Gb Fibre Channel devices.
- ADS Technology
- The Advanced Data Streaming (ADS) Technology is designed to allow for controlled acceleration of data transfers, allowing you to move large amounts of data faster and more efficiently. This gives you the I/O performance you need to work with transfer intensive applications.
