I'm using this product to protect the LCD screen on a Creative Zen MP3 player, about the size of the screen on a typical point-and-shoot digital camera.
The grid printed on the release paper backing is a great aid for cutting the film to the proper size and getting the edges reasonably straight while using scissors. I also used a pair of small fingernail clippers to round the corners of the film, while the release paper was still attached, to prevent it from peeling too easily.
Since the MP3 player was nearly new and the screen was in great shape, I didn't use the included wipes. All I did was gently wipe away a few fingerprints with a piece of soft tissue paper. It is important, however, to prevent bubbles under the film, one must be sure to remove all specks of dust and lint from the surface beforehand.
I peeled the backing partially, placed one edge of the film on the display, and rolled my finger across it in a sort of squeegee action to avoid trapping air bubbles. It worked quite well. The few small bubbles that appeared are hardly noticeable and don't affect the usability of the display at all. So far, the film has been in place a couple of weeks and is doing its job well. The good thing about it is that it is economical, and when the film gets scratched or starts to peel, I can easily cut a new piece. In the case of this MP3 player, I can make two screen protectors from each sheet in the kit.
I'm pleased to have found a protective film for consumer use equivalent to the films used by manufacturers to protect LCD displays on their products in the shipping carton.

I thought the plastic would be amore pliable, static decal-type material (or like the littlesticker you peel off a brand new pair of sunglasses), butinstead it's more like an awkward and flimsy clear sticker,and once it's pulled off, it's off. Especially if you have afuzzy interior lining in your camera case that leaves a lintimprint. I recommend finding an alternative material toprotect your screen like a sheet of clear static decalmaterial. Let me know when you find out where to buy it!

Problems Encountered: Screen overlays wouldn't stay put, especially when I to putmy camera in it's case. Squeegee is useless and actuallyscratches the overlay. No, I'm not bitter about it, justwish it was a more quality product.

The package is easy to use. All the bubbles are difficult to remove - basically impossible. Haven't had the stickies long enough to see how long they last. I wish they had more of a glassy and less bubbly aesthetic. The good news is that they should come off the screen, while I don't see others that do that. I use this on a Canon 60D.

I bought this product to protect the touch screen of my new Lumix and to cut down on outdoor glare (it claims it will eliminate glare). It does not go on smoothly, even when using the cardboard 'squeegee' that comes with it. Impossible to get air bubbles out. I would not recommend this product.

This product is hard to attach to the camera's screen when using the inclosed cardboard applicator. I could not get all the bubbles out even with repeated rubbing. Within three days the protective film was coming loose at the corners of the screen, and the remaining air bubbles were getting larger. There is still a lot of glare on the screen when outside.

Good size and multi pack meant I used it on everything I had with a small LCD. I found it difficult to get it completely bubble free even with the provided squeegee. Also with only 1 cleaner and applicator wipe, have all your devices ready to go at the same time.

When installed on a 3" screen on my new Nikon D7000, it was tricky to separate the layers without a sharp blade edge. Then the packaged bubble remover added more small bubbles. I cut and installed a second protector, squeegeeing out the bubbles using my finger and a very flexible credit card.
The adhesive appears to be quite strong, handling the wear & tear of removal from my bag plus bouncing on my jacket. The final test will be cold temperatures, as I will be using this camera at -30, next winter.

They don't tell you there are 12 protective sheets inside so if you make a mistake cutting there's plenty more.
It's best to cut the sheet just a little smaller than needed to help get the bubbles out.

These are more work than they are protection, I'm afraid. There's a lot of trimming to get them to fit anything correctly before applying. Thank goodness they didn't cost too much. I should've gone ahead & gotten the hard protective cover for a few more dollars. This one's only going to protect from some minor scratches(hopefully). The other will be purchased soon.

I thought this would protect the LCD screen on my new Canon Powershot SD 1400 and it won't stay stuck and now has a bend in one corner I gather is from putting it in the case.
Luckily the package includes several protectors...hmmm, might have found out why! I will put another one on and see what happens.
Another not so good thing is they included 1 sealed package of wet and 1 sealed package of dry cleaner for an entire pack of protectors. The dry one should be ok for quite a while, I don't think the wet one will last long.
The concept is great and the process to apply is easy.
