The 931307-0403 2.4 GHz Cordless Presenter from Logitech is a multifunction wireless device designed to enhance the professionalism of your presentations. It features a slideshow control that allow you to start or stop, move forward or backward, blackout the screen, or change the volume in your presentations. A built-in LCD timer can provide you with inaudible warnings that help you manage your delivery time. Moreover, an integrated laser pointer allows you to highlight key points in your presentation.
The unit runs on the 2.4 GHz frequency range and the USB wireless receiver can be stored inside of the controller when not in use. Plug-and-play installation means that the unit will work out of the box with any PC computer. The control has an operating range of 50'.
The unit will run for up to (6) months off of a single set of batteries and an LCD status indicator alerts you to the current level of remaining charge in the device. Besides the ability to store the receiver within the control, the unit also includes a travel case to facilitate mobility.

I use it with Power Point Presentations. Just plug to USB the unit that stores with the set and go. Gives you inaudible time cues if you want to keep you on schedule.
Bright laser pointer, but small dot.
Very good range, so you can move in a room at ease (I estimate 30 feet range)
Has a button to black out the presentation. Another for F5 (start/stop presentation - Power Point function).
When finished, I remove the batteries and put them with the unit in the enclosed pouch. Overall takes little space.
The only drawback: do not have mouse functions. This means you have to go to the computer to get the next presentation if you have more than one. I put them in separated windows for speed in putting them on, and use the F5 button to start the first one and blacken the proyector until is time to give it.
Overall is excellent for presentations on the road.

I make a lot of PowerPoint presentations. Over the years I've found that I almost never use the mouse feature, and having it on my presenter is just another button to press at the wrong time. I also like a very distinct "click" in order to properly and surely advance the presentation. This presenter does all that, it's fantastic. If I were to ever lose it, I'd buy another one. In fact, I'm thinking about buying a spare just in case.

I use the cordless presenter for giving detailed presentations on current advances in science and medicine within the lab I work in.
For these presentations, I need to be concise, display our findings in a simple yet effective manner and make sure I am able to communicate well to my audience.
The presenter allows me to do that by freeing me from being stuck next to the computer (I am able to move around and connect more with my audience), it also has the great feature of having inaudible time limit cues so I can be sure to keep my presentation within the required time slot.
