LA Audio CAN-D - Front-of-House Headphone Delay

The CAN-D from LA Audio is a compact unit designed to delay an audio signal for front-of-house mixing purposes. When a mixer is seated at the front of the house, short time delays from the on-stage speakers can cause discrepancies between what you hear from the stage and what you hear in the headphones. The CAN-D will delay the audio to your headphones by up to 678ms, allowing you to sit up to 763 feet (226m) away from the stage and still hear the audio in perfect sync.

You can choose to set the delay by inputting your distance in feet or meters, or by manually selecting the number of milliseconds you'd like the audio to be delayed. An easy-to-read numeric display gives a visual indication of the delay. Both 1/4" and 1/8" headphone jacks are provided so that you can use your favorite cans. An internal headphone amp ensures that you have plenty of volume, and the rugged aluminum construction provides long-lasting durability.

Note! While the CAN-D will work with any headphones, headphones with impedances between 32-100 Ohms are recommended.
