The G-Raid2 1 TB 2-Disk Triple Interface External Hard Drive Array from G-Technology is a high-capacity external RAID that features two 7200 rpm drives striped together in a hardware RAID 0 configuration and an interface that allows it to be connected via FireWire-800, FireWire-400, or USB 2.0.
The drive is housed in a durable titanium external casing that features a small and quiet fan for cooling. The stylish drive will look right at home sitting on top of your Apple Mac Pro. The array delivers transfer rates fast enough to play back multiple streams of high-definition video simultaneously making it an ideal solution for anything for video editing. The drive will also perform perfectly in high-resolution imaging, data backup, or general storage applications.
- 1 TB Capacity
- 1 TB of capacity allows for storage of approximately 75 hours of uncompressed DV digital video, the equivalent of 212 4.7 GB DVD video discs or up to 250,000 MP3 files.
- Multiple Stream Playback
- The G-RAID2 can play back up to seven DV25 video streams simultaneously in real time, allowing you amazing flexibility when working with your video. It also supports simultaneous playback of four HDV, three DVCPRO HD, two 8-bit SD or one 10-bit SD stream.
- SATA II Drives
- G-Technology exclusively uses 7200 rpm SATA II drives with large 16 MB data buffers in their enclosures, leaving no doubt that you will be receiving a quality drive in the enclosure.
- Triple Interface
- The drive easily connects to any computer with a FireWire-400, FireWire-800, or USB 2.0 interface, make it easy to add to a variety of workstations.
