The HD-Bridge DEC+ HDV to HD/SD-SDI Decoder from Miranda is an HDV (MPEG2) decoder interface that outputs to multiple formats and is intended for news gathering, recording, monitoring, and on-air playout. It features (2) HDV IEEE-1394 ports (iLink, FireWire). This model differs from the HD-Bridge DEC in the addition of an ASI and Genlock reference input
Dual digital video outputs provide HD/SD-SDI with embedded audio and time code. One output is a clean feed and the other features time-code burn in and aspect-ratio markers. The interface also provides composite video, SD/HD component video, AES and analog audio, and LTC outputs.
An RS-422 port is available for VTR control. A built-in cross converter allows for 1080i/720p HD cross-conversion. This unit can also perform 720p23.98 HDV to 1080i59.94 HD/SD SDI conversion and down conversion from HD to SD format.
